Clinical Experiences
I have worked with children and families in private practice since 1999. I have also worked as a school psychologist on a part-time basis in elementary and high school settings for over 20 years. As a school psychologist I provide assessments, therapy, and work with school staff and parents to determine appropriate services, accommodations and modifications, and supports for students with learning, social/emotional and behavioral challenges. Prior to this I worked for a period of three years in the Children’s Outpatient Department of the Royal Ottawa Hospital providing clinical services including assessment, consultation, and therapy to children and their parents. My pre-doctoral internships were completed at the Allan Memorial Institute in Montreal, the Royal Ottawa Hospital Children’s Outpatient Department, and the Ottawa Hospital Pain Management Clinic.
