Profile Overview
I provide psychotherapy, counselling and consultation for older adolescents, adults, couples, parents and families. My particular interests include relationship functioning in couples, families, and parents; transitions, with a focus on lifestyle changes, relocation, life stages, employment change, relationship changes and bereavement; inter-cultural issues including family relationships, expatriate experiences and adoption support; and personal wellness issues including concerns about mood, anxiety and depression, lifestyle, stress coping and personal growth. I bring extensive international experience to the psychotherapy I offer.

Therapy, Counselling, and Consultation: $225/hour
E Transfer, Visa and Mastercard are accepted for payment which is due when services are provided. Many extended health care plans include benefits for psychological services; check with your insurance provider to determine your coverage. Under some circumstances fees are negotiable with the therapist.

Availability & Service Details
Psychotherapy, counselling and consultation services are provided in one hour sessions, in English. Both in-person in the office and virtual online sessions are available. My hours are Tuesday to Friday, 9:45am to 6pm.

My psychotherapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to discover the connections between thoughts, feelings and behaviours: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to implement values and skills for intentional, mindful living: Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) to promote the usefulness of emotional experiences for communication and attachment in relationships; and IMAGO therapy for integrating and healing past experiences.
I have been part of the Centrepointe team since 2006. Prior to this I have offered a broad range of private psychological services and community mental health services in Phnom Penh, Cambodia (The Green Gate Centre); Singapore (Singapore American Community Access Council); New Delhi, India; Halifax, N.S. (Atlantic Child Guidance Centre); and Ottawa (Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario).
I have been part of the Centrepointe team since 2006.
